Okay for the last few days I’ve seen a lot of posts regarding all the horrid things that are going on in the world.
The stuff with Libya and New Zealand.
But just a moment ago I saw included in one of the posts this:
More than 50 80 killings in Ciudad Juarez - Mexico, over 3 days
Juarez.
I just moved out of a city that was not even ten minutes away from that town.
THIS. IS. NOTHING. NEW.
Juarez has had killings happening since 2000. On average they had 8 killings A DAY.
So far this year they have had it better (when I was there last) of only 3 killings per day.
I’ve seen it. It’s a horrible nasty place. So bad that it was SPILLING over into El Paso. Innocent people getting pinned with drugs because drug dealers placing them in there cars for them to take BACK over the border. Only to get caught and thrown into Mexican jails.
I’m sorry but I think it’s just sad when someone takes all the horrible things that go on in the world and say “GOSH GOLLY LOOK AT ALL THIS SHIT GOING ON WHILE WE SIT ON OUR ASSES!”
We are not the fucking super hero country. Fuck half of the entire world hates our country. I hate to say it but a good percent of Libya and Egypt want to hurt us.
Yes it’s horrible that someone is using 50 caliber rounds onto innocent victims in Libya. The same rounds we are using to fight in Afghanistan at this moment.
Yes it is horrid that people in New Zealand are losing family members because of an earthquake. The same thing could happen at any moment to my family as well, they live in southern California.
It irritates me that I get yelled or preached at because I’m not slathering my wall with the same thing over and over. My husband is in the Army and I’m sorry to say, but I’m more worried about his well being when he leaves the safety of our country.
Remember charity starts at home.
